NAD+ at Visage Aesthetics, Braintree, performed by Bernadette Tobin RGN, MSc
NAD+ at Visage

A medical decision, taken slowly.

Your nad+ plan is shaped in a free consultation by a registered nurse with an MSc in Advanced Practice. We only proceed when it's genuinely the right call.

Overview

What it is, in plain English.

NAD+ is a coenzyme found naturally in every cell and involved in normal energy metabolism. Some people choose NAD+ injections as part of a wider wellbeing routine, particularly when they are feeling run down or want to discuss support alongside sleep, nutrition and stress management. It is important to be plain about the limits: NAD+ is not a cure for fatigue, it does not replace medical investigation, and it is not an anti-ageing treatment. If you have persistent tiredness, unexplained symptoms or a new health concern, your GP should be the first call. At Visage Aesthetics, NAD+ is considered only after screening, with no pressure to proceed.

Benefits

Why clients choose it.

  • A short intramuscular appointment after a clinical screening conversation.
  • May suit people who want to discuss wellbeing support alongside healthy foundations.
  • Does not require a recovery period for most clients.
  • A nurse-led setting where questions and medical history come first.
  • Can be declined if the treatment is not a sensible fit.
  • A clear distinction between wellbeing support and medical treatment.
Who it's for

Suitable candidates

  • Adults in good general health who have completed a thorough consultation.
  • Clients who understand that it is not a replacement for GP assessment.
  • People willing to discuss medicines, health conditions and any ongoing symptoms openly.
  • Clients with realistic expectations and no request for a guaranteed outcome.
Who it's not for

Not suitable if

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding clients.
  • Anyone with an active, unexplained or serious health concern that needs medical assessment first.
  • People with significant kidney or liver disease, or other conditions identified during screening.
  • Anyone with a known allergy to an ingredient in the treatment.
What to expect

Before, during, and after.

before

We will discuss why you are considering NAD+, your medical history, medications and any symptoms. If anything suggests you need tests or medical advice first, I will ask you to speak with your GP before treatment.

during

If appropriate, NAD+ is given as a quick intramuscular injection. The appointment includes time to check that you feel well and to answer questions before you leave.

after

Mild soreness or redness at the injection site can happen. You can usually return to your day straight away. If you feel unwell or have concerns afterwards, contact the clinic or seek medical advice as appropriate.

Questions

NAD+ FAQs.

No. I deliberately designed the clinic this way. We sit back from Friars Lane, behind electric gates, with private parking entirely out of view from the road — your car can't be seen from the street. There is no signage on the building, no shopfront, no waiting room window. You walk straight through a discreet entrance, the door closes behind you, and you are the only client in the clinic. Many of my clients tell me Visage is the most private clinic they have ever used. That is by design, not by accident.
A note from Bernadette
Wellbeing treatments deserve the same honesty as aesthetic treatments. I will listen to what you hope NAD+ might help with, but I will also tell you when your symptoms need a GP, a blood test, more rest or a different conversation entirely.
