Who we are
Visage Aesthetics is a clinic operated by Bernadette Tobin (RN, MSc), 17A Friars Lane, Braintree, Essex CM7 9BL. For privacy-related questions, contact info@vaclinic.co.uk.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry: your name, contact details and the treatment you're interested in. When you become a client: your medical history, consent forms, photographs and treatment notes (held securely as part of your clinical record).
How we use it
Enquiry data is used to respond to you and arrange a consultation. Clinical records are kept to deliver safe care, in line with NMC and clinical record-keeping standards. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Visage Voice, on our home page
Visage Voice, on our home page, is an AI voice assistant. When you tap the button and talk, your browser turns your speech into text using its own speech service (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari). The text of your question is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write each answer, and is not used to train its models. The answer is read aloud by your browser, or by Google's text-to-speech service, which receives the words of the answer only.
We keep each question and the answer it was given so we can see what people want to know, improve our answers and add to our FAQ. We do not keep your name, your IP address or anything that identifies your device, and any email address, phone number, postcode or card number in a question is removed before it is saved. Questions that come up often may be answered on our FAQ page, written in general terms so no one can be identified. The wording of questions and answers is cleared after 12 months. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions well. Please still keep medical details, names and contact details for your consultation.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is held for up to 12 months. Clinical records are held for the period required by professional regulation, currently a minimum of 8 years from your last appointment.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@vaclinic.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
